2025 CADILLAC LYRIQ

SCHEDULE A TEST DRIVE
Overview
Going fully electric shouldn’t mean giving up on the luxury driving experience you’ve come to love. That’s the premise behind the 2025 Cadillac LYRIQ. Not only is it a mid-sized SUV that turns heads, but it’s also Cadillac’s first fully electric vehicle. Even the single-motor models are surprisingly sporty while giving you over 300 miles of range per full charge. Upgrading to the higher power arrangement with dual motors barely lowers the range either. It’s a highly capable EV with a quiet ride that will keep you happy for years while lowering your fuel expenses.
Who's It For?
Cadillac enthusiasts who want to experience the performance of a Cadillac EV will love the LYRIQ. There’s no need to compromise with this ground-breaking design. Drivers who want a lot of power will be more than happy with the 515 horsepower put out by the dual motor design, while those who just want plenty of range will appreciate how far the LYRIQ goes on a single charge. The comfortable and spacious interior makes this a great SUV for carpooling or picking up clients at the airport. If you’re always on the road for a long commute, the quiet and smooth ride will make it a soothing experience rather than a stressful one. People who aren’t convinced that electric vehicles can live up to the Cadillac experience will be surprised by the LYRIQ and its performance. Only a test drive can give you a real feel for how responsive the dual-motor model is while you’re in traffic.

What's New For 2025?
The 2025 Cadillac LYRIQ's changes are slight, with the automaker shuffling standard features. The base trim was discontinued, and more features became standard for other trims. New tech features like front passenger seat memory, alloy pedals, and more ambient lighting colors complement the new paint, upholstery, and wheel options available this year.
Real World Performance
A single-motor LYRIQ produces 365 horsepower and 325 pound-feet of torque, which is more than enough to keep up with traffic. This rear-wheel drive model handles more like a sports car, thanks to its low center of gravity, rear-wheel drive powertrain, and nimble handling. The dual-motor option gives drivers up to 515 horsepower and all-wheel drive for improved capability. Drivers will appreciate the added grip and performance in slippery conditions.
No matter which model you choose, the 5-link front and rear suspension deliver powerful handling, and the Ultium Battery Platform provides the perfect base for the LYRIQ to have a near 50/50 weight distribution. The result is agility and impressive handling through tight corners. A drive mode selector puts the power in the driver’s hands with options for Tour, Snow/Ice, Sport, and My Mode. Charging and range are no big deal with Cadillac Energy Assist helping you find charging stations and schedule your charges to be convenient when you do manage to run out of the impressive 300-mile+ range.
